Dr Danny Tucker
Obstetrician and Gynaecologist
Associate Professor, Divisional Medical Director for Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Neonatology in North Queensland.
Background
Originally from Adelaide, Danny completed medical training at King’s College, London, then trained as a specialist and was employed at the University of Oxford. He moved to Queensland in 2008 and was Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Townsville University Hospital for five years and Director of Training for another five.
Danny is an Associate Professor of O&G at James Cook University and is passionate about improving public access and quality of care for women.
Danny is an Associate Fellow of RACMA, having undertaken leadership training with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators.
